History
Campsall Country Park originally formed part of the grounds of Campsall Hall, which stood near to St Mary Magdalene Church, Campsall. Campsall Hall was demolished in 1986.
Campsall Hall was the home of the Frank family until 1956, when the local authority and the National Coal Board developed a large area of housing in Campsall Park and Campsall Hall was converted into flats.
Original features in the park include examples of London plane, Wellingtonia, beech and yew that which were first planted by Richard Frank. Campsall Country Park is now owned by DMBC.
